Webinar: DNS Training Session for ISPs: DNS 101

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Technical Engagement team, in collaboration with the Internet Service Providers and Connectivity Providers (ISPCP) constituency, is excited to announce a series of training sessions aimed at both technical and non-technical individuals, focusing on topics related to the Domain Name System (DNS). These sessions are intended for all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) globally. All sessions will be conducted online at convenient time zones.

The first session, DNS 101, is scheduled for Monday 29 April 2024 from 15:00 to 16:30 UTC, and is designed to be an introductory session, laying the foundation for all subsequent sessions. DNS 101 will explain how the DNS technically works, and provide an overview of basic DNS concepts, its structure, how it is designed and why, and its most important operational characteristics.
